When in the down position, if an adult sat on the seat would they be able to tell the difference between the booster seat version and the standard one? My main concern is that while it might be fine for my kids, is it comfortable enough for larger people.

    Regards,
I have these in my B5.5 Passat and the seats do not feel any different for an adult when they are in the down position. The only difference for my model when having this option is that the 3rd passenger headrest is deleted.

Are you able to supply the part number? I have an 09 Highline and a four year old...so this is what I am after.

    TIA.

Did you buy a stock vehicle or ordered it? If it was stock it sounds like you were "had" in order to (no pun intended) make a quick sale. Booster seats were available on the 09 model.

I looked into post fitment about 6 months ago, about $5000 in black leather. Didn't go ahead with.

That's true and I've never understood why. It can't be because beige does not meet australian standards and black does

Was told once it's because they get too dirty in beige but I've seen them in a german Passat catalogue in beige, so what is VWA suggesting Aussie kids are filthy compared to German ones?

$5k!!! are they on drugs? Just another example of money grabbing by VW Australia. I guess they probably wonder why the take up is so low?

    Phillip,

I am interested in retrofitting integrated child seats for my 2008 R36 wagon.

I assume that the current V6 FSI Highline model has similar, but not identical rear black leather seats - are they interchangeable?

If so, please let me know how much this would cost for this option without any recovering. I am happy to use a slighly different colour/texture rear seat for the safety of the kids now and refit the original one in a few years.
