Interest for DieselGeek Short shifters?

Hey guys,

I am about to order one for the polo. Then I wanted to ask Jim about group buys. I told him I organised one successfully 3 years ago, and was asking about rates. He said they stopped doing group discounts for a variety of reasons.
I was hoping and seeing if there was any interest in getting a few in together to save on shipping. It really is a shame that there are no discounts on multiple purchases. But who knows, if we get a solid amount, and have money up front maybe he might make a exception. In any case, the shipping costs are notable even with 2-3 people, and then somewhat stabalise for orders over 5+
So in other words: Calculation for shipping (which everyone can do), shipping works out to be at cheapest $40USD for one shifter. We can halve the shipping cost with 2 people and it drops to around $15 each with 3 shifters, and then seems to level out at ~$10 shipping per shifter thereafter.
My hoping is that we might be able to change his mind for this once off time, if we can all get confirmed orders, have money ready and see what he says then. Because, you know. VAG drivers don't f&7k around!

Howdy, yes that is what I am getting for the missus' polo GTI.
As long as it has the 5 speed with the silver shifter weight (look) it should be the right one.
