    Direct Acceleration - Throttle response
With this mod, you can change the behaviour of the accelerator. Option B provides a more linear acceleration without sudden deliveries.
    1. Module 44 - Power Steering (Code 19249)
    2. Adaptation
    3. Select - switching driving profile
    Choices:
A - Gradual, controlled by time
B - Directly controlled threshold value
    Current:
    2017 Mk2 Tiguan 162TSI, R-line, White
    2020 Mk7.5 Golf R Wagon, White

    Sorry mate.

You were moding the Power Steering module?

The codes should be applied to your engine module to change the accelerator behaviour.

    I think you are wrong.

No it's right. The change is in that module. Doesn't make sense but it works

    Interesting

I thought it was the Audi accelerator mod.

Where did you find this new mod?

It's in the golf threads and in obdeleven forum I think. Just googled for throttle response vcds mods.

As the others indicate, it is counterintuitive but I have confirmed it works.
It does reduce tip in lag and improve throttle response a bit.

Overall less of an effect than a Pedalbox in its lowest of 21 settings (Eco with negative 3), other than OFF.

    2017 Mk2 Tiguan 162TSI, R-line, White
    2020 Mk7.5 Golf R Wagon, White

Just did this, this morning and the car feels so much better, no need to jam it into S mode to over take anymore.

It reduced the lag time between the pedal and the torque request table!

Are there any negatives to the gearbox from this ‘mod’

Clutch wear, harshness in driveline, gearchanges rough/slurred, strange hill-hold behaviours and whatnot?

If not, I’m keen to try anything that will make my dsg experience better.

None to be honest, the timer/delay function is just for idiots who can't seem to work out how articulate their foot and use the accelerator properly. Kind of reminds me of my 70 year old mum driving, it's 0% TPS or 50% TPS, nothing in between LOL..
