I've had cheap pedal covers in the past. Managed to kick one off the brake pedal while moving my foot from accelerator to brake in a hurry.... it fell under the brake pedal and gave me heart failure when I couldn't depress the pedal fully. Luckily it flipped out in the same second and I could stop in time.
Needed a new pair of undies after that.

I was considering stainless steel door and boot sill protectors but worry that cheap low grade steel might rust and stain the paint.
With kids and loading pushchairs into the boot, sill protection makes sense... I'm thinking about using clear or even matte black/grey vinyl. Not much of an expert in this and clean application would be an issue for me. VW offer this but waaaay too expensive.

$14 from Kmart. Fits the Tig perfectly and includes boot lip protector!

What are you thoughts on running boards?

    Does it complement the car?

They don't look too bad, would be good for the kids. I did think about getting some for the Tig but didn't in the end as no one could show a picture of them at the time.

I actually saw these earlier, called my dealer and he said they weren't listed on his system but he'll look into it for me.

I don't think they look to bad and will definitely help my 3yo get in and out..

In saying that, by the time I get my fooken tig even my 1yo will be big enough to get in without them! 😩

You can buy clear 3M Clearshield plastic and use that Cant even see it when applied. Not hard to do yourself if you are careful I did both my cars door sills and rear bumpers for about $100

Thanks! Were they pre-cut or did you have to cut them?
