    Windshield sprayers not working

    Hi guys

As the title says my front windshield washers have stopped spraying. The passenger side headlight washer still sprays but the drivers side doesn't. It doesn't even fully extend.

Any ideas? Could it be a blockage somewhere? Pump not generating enough pressure?

    Thanks

Use a stitching needle/paper pin to clean the tip. Also it depends on the wiper fluid you are using, sometimes if its too concentrated it can gunk up if not used regularly and too much sun . A very good sign is that the passenger side it working meaning most of the other issues less likely. Mine had slightly lower spray pattern and I did the above, used quite a bit of spray fluid at once and eventually the gunk came out and its working fine now.

Hey so I tried cleaning them out and that made no difference. I actually took the sprayers off and even still no spraying. In fact none of the sprayers are working now. Not even the headlights. The pump is definitely running but not creating any flow. I also checked vcds for faults of which there are none. And yes the water bottle is full. Topped it up.

Pump inlet could be blocked with algae.

Ok. There are some electrical plugs connected to the sprayers inside the skin of the bonnet. Are they solenoid operated?

    They're just the water hoses.

If you remove the lower inner guard liner on the right hand side, you'll see the bottom half of the washer bottle where the pumps are.

Pull the pumps out and make sure they're not blocked with crap.

So I got this fixed now. As it turns out the pumps and the bottle were fine. No algae or anything like that. There was a blockage somewhere in the hose between the pump and the sprayers. I ended up having to run in an entirely new hose as tge original is buried in a split corrugated hose with other wiring.
