    Melted Pressure sensor (G450)

Got a G450 sensor from a UK eBay seller 9 months ago VW SKODA AUDI SEAT DPF DIESEL 1.9 2.0 2.5 TDI DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE SENSOR - NEW | eBay for my 2008 125kW TDI. Installed, adaped and force regen'ed. Has been worked well since.

Last week, engine warning light came on (P2002 - Particle Filter Bank 1: Malfunction). Though it is a different fault (signal too high), it looked like another G450 failure. After a few days, heard some funny noise then I discovered a melted sensor. Installed a Bosch sensor now and see how it goes. Well, I wonder it is the quality of the sensor or some other issues causing that. No other warnings/faults came before that. Any suggestions?

That looks to me very much like damage from abrasion, not melting
    Cheers
