    Cleaning your dirty tools

Nobody likes dirty tools – that’s a fact. We all know the feeling, picking up a tool only to find it covered in dirt and grease, or even worse – dropping a tool in automotive oil. Luckily, this can be easily rectified and your tools can be put back into commission in no time.

Autoglym Engine & Machine Cleaner is a powerful, water-based, biodegradable degreaser, which makes it perfect for dissolving grease and grime from your tools with ease.

Lay the tools you wish to clean out on the pavement or on your grass and spray a liberal amount of Engine & Machine Cleaner to your tools. Allow the cleaner to sit on the tools for a bit and let the cleaner work its magic. Some spots where dirt and grime has built up may require a bit more persuasion with a scourer, but the degreaser will work to soften these spots, making things a lot easier.

Once the cleaner has had sufficient time to dissolve the grease and grime, give the tools a good rinse, making sure to get rid of any leftover solution. Then it’s just a matter of drying them down with a towel and they’ll be ready to be put to work again.
