For me, sprints are fine at QR but i'd stick to happy laps at LS because the barriers are too close.
I agree, Lakeside has barriers that are too close for me as well. Especially the last corner, even at happy laps that freaks me out nearly everytime. Especially if I get some understeer, then its handbrake to the rescue.

QR would be nice though. Can we still keep the happy laps though? One at QR and one at Lakeside?

The aim is to keep the happy laps for regular drivers and then operate the street sprint events for people who want to go to the next level.
That way we also make happy laps a more safe and fun environment as you won't have to worry so much about people pushing towards 200km/h.

I made a new thread in the events section asking for EOI's for the sprint series so i can get the information and numbers in its own thread.

Ah great I think I will stick with happy laps until I get a faster car and get more experience.

Hmmmmm that sounds really awesome man Especially as the Abarth 500 would be one of the cars I would consider once I get my opens. I'll let you know whether I would still like to take this offer closer to the sprints.

One advantage of owning a 6R Polo GTI, though.... I averaged 8.7L/100km during the 30 minutes on the track!

It's true I wasn't the fastest there, but I was hitting 165-170 on the straight, and wasn't lapped by too many people...

To be honest, I never even saw the little black pogo out there so you must have been keeping pace with me at least.
Having said that there was a bit of traffic so we weren't going all out all the time.

I barely used 1/4 of a tank, other times when I've had a clear track for the 30mins I was closer to half a tank. I think I was reading 14l including the drive up there.

Dayum, that is some good fuel consumption.

At Lakeside I usually get about 11-13L/100km and at QR I get ~14L/100km. And that's from a NA 1.6 4-cyl engine. :/ I really have to thrash the living daylights out of it to even dream of keeping up with anyone though.

Your track consumption is nearly as good as my everyday consumption! :O
