    The extra 5mm is fine.

19x8.5 ET45 is also common, which are 11mm over stock and rarely cause issues.

Re: OEM wheels, there’s plenty of Audi wheels available on eBay/etc. just make sure they’re the right offset (45-55)

Yes, some Audi wheels on the eBay. Those Audi R8 wheels won't quite fit

Gone : 2004 Bora V6 4Motion (few klms, all options)

Never bought wheels before, so its a learning experience.
I'm detecting that "aftermarket", "replica" and "golf style" are likely code words for craptastic quality wheels.
As already advised by dutch above, genuine oem wheels are a scarce commodity.
And importing some oem Pretoria's from Germany is excessively expensive.
AG have some designs that are mildly appealing.
AUDI & VW | AG WHEELS
What is the quality and reputation of Avant Garde (AG) wheels ? Thoughts ?
Also, existing (original) oem Cadiz wheels are 19 x 8 with ET50.
AG Blade wheels are 19"x8" with ET45, so the wheels will move outwards 5mm.
    Will this 5mm cause any problem/s on Mk7 R ?
    Thanks to the wheel gurus.
I had AG wheels on my modded Ford Falcon G6eT. Rims looked good but buckled pretty quickly and ruined the tyres. Albeit the Falcon is a heavier car, the rims didn't last on driving city roads with small potholes. You get what you pay for and the AG rums were cheapos.

Circa USD$1,200 each wheel. Thats about AUD$6,200 for a set of 4, plus freight, plus GST when they arrive.
    Total something exceeding ~ $7K.
I'm far too fiscally retentive for such extravagance.
But the pics sure are are nice.

    That'd be for a set..

The local importer for whatever reason is choosing not to show them online, although then shows them on their FB page (at least I think it's their FB page, I'm not a FB user).. but assuming they land at some point I'd expect a 19 x 8.5 ET45 set to be here, landed at your door for around $2,350 on current pricing (i.e. in line with 810 pricing).

What sort of budget are you looking at? 18 or 19s?

Save for quality wheels, and quality tyres.

They would be OZ Leggera HLT - I had the first set in Australia on my GTI back in 2014.

Side note to all: if anyone's looking at OZ, BBS or HRE in the short-medium term let me know, as we may be able to organise a small group buy.
