    Crafter timing belt

Has anyone had to do a timing belt on a diesel Crafter and are there any foibles to be considered in doing one

Is this the 2.5 TDI or the new 2.0 TDI ?

Are you going to do it yourself ?

Ive got a 2.5TDI. When are they normally due for replacement and is it a big job for DIY? (Ive done quite a few timing belts on various veichles before)

Call the service department or look in the service manual for intervals.

I'm not a mechanic so not sure if its a big job or not.

Hi I have looked at doing the timing belt on my own crafter . You need some special tools to remove pulleys and to set up the timing etc.
