Who's next for an R32 in Brissy?

I ordered early November and it's supposedly going to be here (land at the docks) around the 10th of Feb according to the auto cargo tracker (http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do).

Anyone else getting a golf on the same shipment? From Highway VW?

If you know your VIN you can follow the link and then go to auto cargo and track it that way. Initially it only shows your car and the destination and arrival ports but you can click on the voyage to see the ship's whole trip.

If you ask for VIN they should know it.

Well ... if someone is giving them away (R32s) ... I'll have one.

Yes good experience so far. I dealt with Daniel down there. My experience with them might be skewed as I was introduced by a business contact that has known the highway guys and Daniel for a few years. I wonder how my experience would have been going in cold.

But I can say that my experience with Newstead VW has been appalling. I work just around the corner and I went down there 3 times and only looked at their R32s and not one salesperson came to help me. That might be a don't annoy potential customers until they ask thing though.

Are you financing through VW? I found the finance guy down there very good.

i never organise finance through the dealer because that would limit my excuse to pull out of the deal if i have to.

as the contract is subject to finance, when they approve finance for you, you have very little chance to get out.

i didn't know anyone at either dealers but i have 2 friends who had bad experience from Austral VW and subsequently bought from Hwy so i went to Hwy directly.
