MKV R32 Brake option experiences (i cant decide)

    Hi all,

After countless thread searches i still haven't come to a conclusion and need to order these asap as my rotors are cactus.

    Im down to two packages.

EBC rotors (turbo groove type) with EBC red stuff pads OR

DBA 4000 Series T3 Slotted Brake Rotor with remsa pads.

Both are comparatively priced with EBC being slightly higher. Has anyone has experience with this setup? even on a Golf r or MKV gti?. I noticed that you can get a EBC OE replacement front disc but comes with yellow stiff pads? Also EBC dont seem to have the brake pad sensor?

Any help would be great thanks all.

DBA T3's without the Resma as they are rubbish.

I had EBC Greenstuff on my MkV GTI and loved them. Unless you're doing track days a fair bit etc, I wouldn't bother with the Red. They're a little too hardcore/annoying for the street. I'd also stick with EBC rotors. As above, forget the Resma.

Yeah thats two for the remsa no go. I also saw autotech discs on parts4euro for same price. Might go the ebc with green stuff or hawk pads

I'd go for the EBC one
