Hi all, ponderIng a lightweight battery for track and general weight reduction.

I have had fullriver / deka in the past , these have has no issues with a similar sized engine and similar drain but i want to go something ultra light.
Ive found a ballistic 16cell - around 500cca's and a few Elise guys run these large motorbike batteries. It's like 1.5kgs vs the OE which feels like 18kgs or so. I will run it with a external dongle to a CTEK battery tender so draining isn't an issue.

Questions .....anyone run this or any lightweight battery , and any issues with initial draw with our cars options ? ( lights on auto etx etc)

Any links or ideas with a custom mount ?
