    CEL error

    Hi All,
My wife's MkV 2.0FSI threw a CEL this morning.
    Error reported is:

    VCDS Version: Release 11.11.3

Address 01: Engine Labels: Redir Fail!
    Control Module Part Number: 06F 906 056 EK HW: 06F 906 056 EK
    Component and/or Version: MED9.5.10 G00 9607
    Software Coding: 0000075
    Work Shop Code: WSC 20059 959 88136
    VCID: 76E8147B01DC1C9
    1 Fault Found:

    005120 - EGR Valve (N18 )
    P1400 - 002 - Electrical Malfunction - MIL ON
    Freeze Frame:
    Fault Status: 11100010
    Fault Priority: 0
    Fault Frequency: 1
    Mileage: 58646 km
    Time Indication: 0
    Date: 2000.00.00
    Time: 16:12:51

    Freeze Frame:
    RPM: 800 /min
    Load: 18.4 %
    Speed: 22.0 km/h
    Temperature: 70.0°C

    Readiness: 0000 0000

I've reset the DTC for now, just wondering how urgently I should look into this?
If the EGR is failed from an electical perspective, will it be stuck open or closed? What would be the outcome either way?

Also have this fault reported for rear left door:

    3 Faults Found:
01036 - Electric Window Thermal Protection Active; Rear Left
    000 - - - Intermittent
00098 - Left Rear Central Locking (Safe) Motor (V163)
012 - Electrical Fault in Circuit - Intermittent
00930 - Locking Module for Central Locking; Rear Left (F222)
    008 - Implausible Signal - Intermittent

    Anything to be concerned about?

    Thanks in advance

Wouldnt be overly concerned about the EGR light, you shouldn't need to get it looked at urgently. Pretty sure the EGR valve stays closed if there is a fault.

I put a smaller Skoda EGR gasket on mine and from time to time it will throw a CEL saying the EGR flow is too low but they it just goes away without VAGCOM.

    You'll be fine.

The door lock issue is common on mkv's, it looks like one of your is on the way out.

Thanks for that, I'll look into replacing it. Its the rear passenger door which is needed as the kiddy seat is there.
Anyone happen to have the part number for a MkV rear left door locking mechanism or would I need to run the VIN through ETKA?
