Just what is that "Skoda" Badge.

One of the kids asked me what is the "Skoda" badge meant to be? I hadn t even thought about it up until then. They suggested it looked like an "arrow shot through the head of someone with a bad mowhawk".

the Word "Skoda" translated means "shame" . Which isn't probably the best name for a car.

Drive did a "What does the badge mean" article last year.

They claimed the Skoda Winged Arrow wasn't a winged ARrrow but an American Indians Head Dress & Arrow because the marketing Managers personal servant was an American Indian...... WTF???

No definitely not. The word "Skoda" doesn't translate into Czech language as "shame". It could translate as a damage or pity. But Skoda is also a name and the Skoda car was made in Skoda factory that was owned by Mr Skoda. The winged arrow is the meaning of that logo. Trust me on that; I lived there for 29 years.

You definitely driving the car with a good history.
