Thread: Mk4 GTI HELP- what should I do?

    So got the normal k03 with an upgraded exhaust I picked up, now lining up a tune from my local specialist Mk4 GTI HELP- what should I do?

    Im curious about which one would be a smarter choice, the ko3s or the ko4, I feel like getting a ko3s would be way easier and cheaper in australia? and i feel like the ko3s would be more suitable for my relatively stock intake and exhaust system.

    K04 requires a lot more hardware. Regardless of what you hear, you need to do the fuel pump, injectors, front mount, MAF housing to get the best from it. If you don't you're not making the best of it and would be better using a K03s.

    With the K03s, a 4 BAR fpr will allow for adequate fueling with a tune. I would still recommend a front mount though.

    The performance of the K03s will eclipse the std turbo in all areas.
