leak from top of rear door

    Hi all,
backing the car out after a heavy rain and noticed water running in a thin stream onto the Left back seat. Stopped and had a look and it seems that water is getting from the door seal into the interior head lining join and then running into the car. Also the carpet in both rear foot wells is soaked.
Doesn't look like the door rubbers. Read the other posts and don't think the answers will work, eg problems with bottom of doors. The water is clearly getting in through the tops of the doors or maybe the sunroof although don't see that. Any thoughts here?
    Regards

    Sunroof drains are probably blocked.

Had the same problem, blocked sunroof drains... The front drain nipples are on the A pillars, the rear ones from memory could be behind the rear bar cover... If not they're under the vehicle. Put a peg on the nipples to open them, open the sunroof and pour a little hot water and feed line trimmer (whipper snipper) cord down the drain holes to free up any clogs. Piano wire also works well.

Be careful pushing things down the drain. The hoses aren't attached very well to the sunroof and they can pop off if you're unlucky.

Sometimes the glue to attach the drain pipes isn't applied very well and they can leak a little.

My money is on blocked drains though. The nipples at the end are probably blocked. Find something to keep them more open permanently so they don't get blocked up so easily.
