Cracked Sump? How to fix? How much :(

    Hi Guys,
My wife has a MK4 GTI and has noticed a slow oil leak over the last week. I told her to call NRMA and not to drive it so she called them and they had a look and said there was a crack in the sump.

She doesn't remember hitting anything so we're both very suprised.

How much are we up for to fix this and is it possible to get 2nd hand sumps?

Not saying this is the correct one but I would reckon less than $200 for the sump and maybe an hours labour to fit plus an oil change.

Bout $250 brand new from VW. Second hand ones are all cracked or damaged.

For anyone else who may find this later, VW Village said $295 including labour then oil and filter on top of that.
