    Bora V5 interior light

Hi All so I picked up the Bora yesterday and after driving it home and playing around with it today. I have noticed that the driver door does not turn on the interior light. All other 3 doors do.

I have had a look for the switch on the door perimeter but can not find anything, I assume it is internal with the latch. Can anyone confirm?

You are correct. Be very wary about leaving your keys in the car until thats fixed. It could lock you out.

Thanks for the heads up Gavin.

Ill be sure not to leave the keys in the car.

Do you know if its a mechanical switch or hall effect/magnet sensor for the light.

Selexon, I think this is a common fault with the micro switch... check out thread below

    Thats for the link beale187.

Looks like I will have to get the soldering iron out.

Just found that the LHR passager door is a bit sporadic on unlocking its self also. I had to lock and then unlock the car a few times for it to unlock.
