    VW tool can do it as well, but it’s not a... how should I say it ....user friendly.
    There is a thread in VCDS section with the members who are willing to help and live nearby to you.

    That tool is used with VW software called Odis.
    It is also capable of performing the required changes but is much less accessible than aftermarket tools for this sort of work (in terms of its ease of use.)
    If you can't find someone closer to you I am in the north west and happy to sort this out for you.
    As I said it's a 5min job.
    There may be some other minor adaptation channel changes required in the discover media to match your car's settings exactly but they will be minor.

    That would be awesome, I work near the north west suburbs so I don't mind the drive there. Are you able to help me out tomorrow - I can come past whenever you'd prefer.
