Radiator fan not working

Hi everyone . Hope someone can help , the radiator fan on my 2006 VW Caddy TDI does not come on causing the A/C to turn off and the car to overheat in traffic . I have checked all the fuses, I have power supply to the main plug to the fans but cant find any info on the activation of the fans ie relays or control modules . If anyone has any experience with this your input would be appreciated . Unrelated I also have a knocking noise/vibration through the steering wheel at around 100 KPH , it goes away under accelleration and decelleration , I thought possible driveshafts? Anyone? Thank BRB

the large fan houses the radiator fan control module. It could be cactus.

yes the the large fan is the problem..it has got built in control module...the retail around 400+
I have one for sale secondhand, so if you need it let me know

Thanks all sorted , found a second hand 1 at work . Same as Audi A3 and TT.
