Odd behaviour when swapping key fobs

    G'day,

I have a MY11 Caddy Maxi Life. I noticed the key fob was missing picks, so probably needed a new battery seeing as I have only ever used this one.

I decided that while getting a new battery, I'd use the other key fob provided. Well, what I have noticed is that as that key fob has never been used by me, after unlocking the car with it, the lane change assist (where pressing the indicator lever momentarily the indicator flashes 3 times by default) setting was turned on.

Now, I did not like it and turned that function off. If I unlock the car with the fob I have been using, the function is turned off, whereas if I unlock the car with the other key fob, the function is turned back on!

It appears as though the key fob is identified and the appropriate settings (well ad least this one) can be changed allowing two people with different preferences to have them activated.

    Anyone else noticed this?
