    April Issue Fast Fours Magazine

    Hey all, my mk1 is featured in fast fours magazine , get yourself a copy. Been a long time coming, been reading fast fours since the early 90s. Maybe the new project will break cover haha

    Your new seats are lighter than the originals but those frames will more than make up the difference.

    I'm rebuilding the seat mounts in mine because some twat built them from scratch using 1" steel square section tubing to bolt onto the Recaro seat mounts instead of modifying the Recaro seat mounts to fit the car. They weigh a ton.

    Cool, yeah the weight of the car is most likely the same but not to concerned about that with this car. Like to think it's lighter haha

    Any idea what your car weighs?

    I'm interested because I'm putting a 16v into mine and I'd be happy if I can get it as quick as yours.
