There was another Polo GTI 6R which was stock as a rock and getting 15.2's.
    Phew!!!

I did 8 runs last night and my best time was 15.08.
I put my car back to stock so I could measure times as I modify.
I will reinstall stage 1 next week and post my times then.

Yeah 15.08 sounds about right for stock. Our runs were in the middle of a Perth heatwave with 40 degree ambient temps at the track.

I'll hit it again before the season closes on a cool crisp night. Should take a good 0.3 or off so at least.

Ah... plus yours is a 6C, so we're comparing two completely different cars.

Im heading back there next week. This time the car has APR S1 tune, HP DSG tune and Milltek catback. Hopefully it will be quicker than stock Post Your Quarter Mile Times!
I made a 0-100 vid below, not the most accurate way to measure using the inbuilt lap timer but sure feels quicker

I got 6.4 seconds stock, not bad considering vw quote 6.7 seconds. It's a 2016 GTI manual though.

You're in 3rd by 100 nearly into 4th. Huge difference with the manual version. I'm changing second at 60kmh and 105kmh 3rd. I'll try post a video of the difference tonight.

    That was my first attempt.
I actually had to squeeze the throttle very lightly in first just to get traction. It has way too much torque.
I think the big difference will be in the quarter mile time.

Drive the manual and then come back to me about having too much torque It seriously needs wider tyres. Anyone had success in getting 225's to fit?

The width obviously plays a big part but I'm running 205's and get pretty good grip for the size I think. More times then not a higher quality skinner tyre will out perform a wider, less quality rubber and tread pattern. Bare in mind this is an earlier model GTI Polo (9n3) but with a bit of throttle control and slowish changes in 1st and 2nd I can manage some decent 0-100 times
