    Obdeleven - oopsie!!!

    Hi All

    i dont know what ive changed but somehow ive managed to make the buttons on my steering wheel to control my MFD stop working. My horn etc still works though so i havent completely broken it

    ive gone through all the settings i can find but i have the feeling im missing something

    has anyone got any ideas?

    The app will have history of changes that were made. Maybe go through that and see what was changed and reverse it ?

    Isn't the horn on the wheel still a manual device and so not going to be effected by the Obdeleven

    Kris: Hopefully you didn't use an App because the history records for Apps is normally fairly perfunctory. Sounds like you were manually playing-around in the modules - which in many ways is better because the History records are more complete.

    Of course the inadvertent changes may be in any module, so you are probably better getting into the History records from the My Car point (rather than via a specific module) because this gets you records across all modules

    Something like my screenshot below might help, then carefully look though the records. My hunch (and it's just a guess) is that you probably messed-up in the Gateway module @ address hex19. I'm guessing this because the "multi-function" module that controls the steering wheel switches is a slave module to the Gateway module.

    i did go through the history but i didnt know about the car history. ill give that a go!
