Will this dogbone mount kit fit the Polo 9n3

    Hey guys.
I am looking at changing the dogbone mount on my Polo.

I found this complete kit at ECS.
    Volkswagen Golf IV 1.8T > Search > Dogbone > ES#5669 ECS Ultimate Dogbone Mount Kit - ECS198851M

Does any one know if this kit will fit the Polo.

It makes for an easy install. Four bolts, no pressing involved.
Plus it makes it easy to return to stock if you want to.

    Cheers.

Don't think so, have a look at Awesome GTI, think APR do one as well.
If your bush is stiff you can end up transferring a lot of engine vibration to the chassis.

No, it won't fit. That's the MK4 kit only. As Noone said, APR do a bush, as do a few others.
After a quick search on ebay, You want this one:

Having fitted this a couple of times, you will need either a arbor press or large vice and socket to press the old bush out, and the new bush can be pressed in by hand. You will need a 13mm socket and ratchet to undo the 3 bolts that hold the mount in. In and out, it's a 20min job.

I tried to remove the arm from the subframe a while back, was pretty difficult to shift.
Anything specific required or just use more force?

Just a bit of force. It's just the way the engine is sitting in the bush/mount.

No need to press it out, push it out with a bit of force and use the grease supplied and torque it all up as reqd, Super pro/powerflex all good, most of the APR ones ive replced when flogged out have been a Superpro, Golf Dogboine mount is different too by the way im sure you have already worked that out.
    Cheers
