Thanks mate! Bug has definitely bit, and is still biting! I wasn't a huge fan of them either at first but now it's lowered and they're blacked out, I can live with them. Will be looking into swapping them but for the moment, they're not at the top of the to-do list.

    Nice work, what's next?
The short shifter is great, how do you find the handling?

Thanks mate. Handling wise I find the springs ok, for a budget handling mod they aren't to bad but it's something that will could use some attention later on. Depends on which path you want to take it down I suppose, and how far you want to go with it. I like where you got yours to before the sale though

The short shifter is on the wish list, as is many other things. Next on the list will be the 3" downpipe, with the rear section in the near future. Then after that it will be better brake pads, new LCA bushes, a rear sway bar and better tires

Definitely when my car gets back from repairs . I'll have to look at the forums a bit more, been busy as hell lately.

I was going to say it'd be time to consider brake pads. On my silver polo I've ran remsa and now a bendix pad. Remsa's were good, Bendix I think marginally better, but incremental. I'd only done one timeattack with the bendix and they were good.

On the red car (with brembo fronts), I've just installed QFM A1RM's to replace the remsa's. They have much higher temperature capability. So far, the QFM's feel awesome, but aren't off the shelf for factory polo brakes. I don't feel cold braking ability has been compromised. You need to provide Brakes Direct with the backing plates to have pads made for em.
