AudiAustralia, 3 July 2013: Audi Australia has finished the first half of 2013 with an increase of 17.3% over last year, delivering 1,205 more vehicles to customers in the first six months.

Following an all-time record sales month of 1,505 units in June 2013, an increase of 10.5% month-on-month, the company is now well-ahead of its previous YTD result for January to June 2012.

Andrew Doyle, Managing Director of Audi Australia Pty Ltd said that he is extremely pleased with the record month.

“In such a highly competitive marketplace, I’m extremely pleased to be reporting a record sales month, and in addition a very strong first half year result of 8,152 units. We are now more than 17% ahead compared with the same six month period in 2012, and this gives us a good indication that we will achieve our ninth record year of growth this year,” Mr Doyle said.

“The combination of strong, well-positioned product, including the new A3 Sportback, plus a focused dealer network and strong communications to customers has seen us achieve this sustainable growth over our previous year.”

“We feel confident about achieving more than 15,500 units for the full year, with more exciting products on the launch calendar including additional A3 Sportback variants, plus the RS 6 Avant, RS 5 Cabriolet and S3 Sportback models,” he added.
