The Green Square Food Festival, being held on Saturday 6 October, has a new sponsor in Australia’s largest Audi dealership, Audi Centre Sydney.

The event is designed to promote the local precinct of Green Square as one of Sydney’s most-exciting new development areas and to encourage a sense of community spirit amongst businesses and residents.

Dealer principal of Audi Centre Sydney, Joe King, says Audi is happy to be a Festival sponsor as the company considers that a close relationship with the local community is extremely important.

“Audi Centre Sydney is proud to be one of the first businesses to open in this area and we believe that building strong community spirit and a sense of pride in the area will only strengthen Green Square as one of the most desirable new areas for businesses and families to move into,” Mr King said.

“As a local business, we are very pleased at the number of great quality businesses that are moving into the area, like the Danks Street arts and food revolution. With more and more residential buildings being opened, we are very keen to see that families enjoy living in the area as much as we do.”

To ‘drive’ families of all ages to the Audi marquee at the Green Square Food Festival, Audi Centre Sydney will set up a mini golf activity for the ‘big kids’ as part of the company’s involvement in golf in Australia, and will also have a driving track complete with mini Audi quattro cars for the little kids to enjoy.

There will also be a competition element to the day to encourage a sense of community spirit, with Audi quattro golf prizes to be won.

“We’re encouraging people of all ages to come and have a drive with Audi,” said Audi Centre Sydney’s Joe King. “No licence necessary!”

Audi Centre Sydney has been a landmark at Green Square since 2009 when the $50 million development was officially opened. It was one of the first businesses to inhabit this rapidly-growing suburb.
