After a long journey from the Volkswagen factory in Pamplona, Spain, the 1 millionth production vehicle of the fifth generation Polo has finally arrived in its new hometown of Sydney. The vehicle departed Spain in July with a grand send-off to embark on the journey to Australia to finally arrive in Port Kembla, NSW, in October.

The white Polo GTI has now been introduced to its new owner, Allan Anonat, who was excited at the prospect of calling this special vehicle his own. Barloworld Volkswagen Mascot Dealer Principal, Darryl Pribut, had the honour of personally delivering the vehicle.

Since its launch in Australia in 2010, the fifth generation Polo range has shaken up the local automotive scene, taking out a range of major awards. Wonder if this one will drink oil like a 2 stroke, destroy it’s clutches and fry a mechatronics issue as well……

    Good luck Mr Allan Anonat….
