Volkswagen’s flexible new Module Concept dealership design has now premiered in Australia with Bryan Byrt Volkswagen opening the doors to their new showroom at Mt Gravatt, Qld. The Module Concept was first introduced in Europe in 2010 and is gradually being rolled out around the world.

In creating the Module Concept, Volkswagen has designed an adaptable format that takes into account a wide variety of requirements and offers an almost infinite number of combinations. What this means for the dealer is that every space can be put to optimum use, whether indoors or outdoors, large or small, in new or existing buildings.

Volkswagen Group Australia has taken the initative to implement a dealership concept that incorporates environmentally sustainable measures by engaging local consulting firm S4B Studio to determine the commercially feasible options for the building services, and advise on their implementation within the new concept.

The cost savings through these initiatives provide considerable payback over the life of the bulding.

From metropolitan showrooms to rural service centres, Volkswagen dealerships across Australia are dopting this exciting new design with over 25 new projects due for completion by 2013.
