Double victory for the Audi A6 design

The Audi A6 Sedan was awarded one of the most prestigious design awards in the United States, receiving the International Design Excellence Award 2012 (IDEA) for its innovative product design.

Audi Head of Design Wolfgang Egger: “The award demonstrates that our design idiom also goes down well in the United States.”

Its dynamic looks and successful interplay of Audi design idiom and innovative technology gave the A6 Sedan the edge as far as the jury from the Industrial Designers Society of America was concerned. In addition to the IDEA award, the Audi A6 family also won the red dot award for its unique product design. The Audi Design Team collected the coveted benchmark of quality during the red dot presentation ceremony in Essen on July 2.
